After eight months of intense competition, Amrita TV’s Raga Ratnam Junior’s grand finale on May 31, 2008 saw three winners KS Harisankar, S Mahadevan, and Arjun Krishna.

The selection of the winners was based entirely on the basis of the marks allotted by the jury in the presence of an invited audience of nearly 1,500 music aficionados at University Senate Hall, Thiruvananthapuram.

The four-hour grand finale saw the coming together of eminent musicians who comprised the jury.

The jury was chaired by veteran music director Dakshinamoorthy. The jury panel included T.N. Seshagopal, Kanyakumari, Guruvayoor Dorai, Kavalam Sreekumar, Binni Krishnakumar and K.L. Sreeram.

The programme also included a violin concert by Kanyakumari and Guruvayoor Dorai
