Thiruvananthapuram Tamil Sangam featured a Music Concert of S Mahadevan (hailing from Thiruvananthapuram) for the month of May 2011.

Being a thematic stage, all of the compositions were of Tamil Vaggeyakaras and Authors.

Composition of Suddhananda Bharathi, Siddhi Vinayakane in raga Kalavati was the first song.

Subramania Bharathi’s songs Chandhiran Oliyil, Nallathor Veenai, Vande Matharam, Ninnaye Rathi, Kakkai Chiraginile, Kannan Thiruvadi, Chinnanchiru Kiliye and Vazhiya Senthamil were sung.

Accompanying artists on the stage Smt. Vaikam Padmakrishnan (Violin), Dr. G Babu (Mridangam) and Sri Anchal Krishna Iyer (Ghatam) gave nice support to the concert.
