A 10-day Music Festival was organized for Navaratri Season 2018 at Thiruvangad Sree Ramaswami Temple .

S Mahadevan rendered a 2 hour music concert, accompanied by Sri Ganaraj Karle on the Violin and Sri PV Anilkumar on the Mridangam.

Starting with a vibrant Ganapathiye Karunanidhiye in the ragam Kharaharapriya, Mahadevan selected songs Kamalamba in Anandabhairavi, Telisi Rama, a popular comosition of Tyagaraja Swami.

A rare but beautiful composition of great musician Sri V Dakshinamorrthy Swami, Chandra Chooda Dayapara in Shanmukhapriya was received well by the audience.

Rama Katha Sudha was selected as the main composition followed by Taniavarthanam.

The concert concluded with bhajans Mannupugazh (Ragamalika), Dasara Nindisabeda in Ragesree and Thillana in Ragesree.
